Are you getting insane abs?

    Hey guys, I just finished Day 3 of Month 2. I started Insanity with the goal of toned abs and I'm just not there yet. For those of you at this point, are you getting insane abs??? My arms are more toned and I'm noticing changes in my thighs but virtually nothing in the ab area. I've been following the meal plans almost exactly too. Any advice?

    That's what kind of has me worried too. I'm just about to finish up my second week and hadn't felt anything in my midsection yet. I can feel my legs and arms toning up but that is all. My wife says it's because I'm not keeping my core tight, but another person on this board said it took him awhile to start feeling it in his abs. However, I've had some people say I look slimmer lately. So, hang in there and keep at it.

    Hi Nicole, I try to do Cardio Abs 3X a week and getting better results. If you have the deluxe package, there's actually a workout called "Insane Abs". I haven;t had the courage to try that yet.

    Nicole, my abs were the last to react and I think it's becuase even though I tried my best I didn't follow the keep the abs tight chant from Shaun during the workouts. However, after the entire program my upper abs are looking pretty good and I will continue to do the insane abs until the lower half gets some definition.

    ag- insane abs is very good .. I didn't like it the first time I did it but now I know how tough it is and can feel the burn everytime and I realize it's a good workout.

    joe- it was the same for me as well but somehow I got some ab look in the upper half so keep digging deeper. The biggest think I get from people is you look nice an lean so It must be working becuase I haven't lost but a couple of pounds total.

    Well, I just finished the last day of week 2. I will never say I don't feel it in my abs anymore. Cardio abs almost gave me cramps in my stomach area. I know if I had done the exercises better I probably wouldn't be able to move right now. I took a 20 minute break between Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs. Maybe next time I'll wait a couple of hours because I couldn't lift my legs that great during the floor exercises.

    ag82...I don't have the deluxe set but maybe adding in cardio abs a few extra times could help. I hate double workout days but hopefully it will be worth it. My main goal with Insanity was to tone my abs.

    JohnA...I still have 3 weeks to go so hopefully in that time my abs will start to tone up.

    Hang in there Nicole. I just did Day of Month 2 and I am dying. Can't imagine adding insane abs in this routine.

    I'm in the 2nd week of month two and my abs are just starting to show. But like Shaun T says, "KEEP THE CORE TIGHT!" I just started doing that with every single exercise I can. I have the deluxe package, however I am pretty much spent after these workouts in month 2.

    I am on Day 2 of month 2 and have been really noticing definition in my upper abs and my obliques relative to my pre-Insanity picture. Lower abs not so much but I am ALWAYS contracting my stomach whether I am walking down the hall, sitting at my desk etc....It took a while to figure out how to contract abs during all exercises but now it is somewhat natural to the point where i try to do it everywhere.

    As a side note...The C position in the cardio abs just kills my lower back. Am I doing it wrong? I find that I get an unbelievable workout from AbRipper X that doesn't hurt my back nearly as much. So I have been doing some mixing and matching.
