I am a 41 y/o relatively thin male who recently put on about 20 pounds. I'm 6'1" and weigh about 185. I am comfortable at 160. No and I repeat NO muscle tone on my body at all. I have the arm of a 5 year old girl. I want to do this but seriously cannot do a pushup. Not one. Is this workout for me?

I started out that way and just did modified pushups as many as I could while they did regular ones and now I can do regular ones and keep up with the video for the most part and I'm only through the first month. I cant wait to see where I go in the second month. Keep at it however you can and you won't believe how strong and agile you get so quickly. I was in the military and didn't see the kind of changes I have seen with Insanity.

go modified pushups and do them on your knees until you can do them on your wrists. once you can do about 20 on your knees, i would say to start doing them off your knees

I can't do pushups because of a neuropathic issue - I have tremors in my arms, but I can move a 5kg medicine ball so work that instead during the push up phases. My shoulders and core work hard, still, and it keeps me panting.
