I completed day 2 of Insanity. All I can say is OUCH!!!! My body is in SOOOO much pain. I am very happy that I finished the workout, even if I can't keep up with the people on the discs. :) I can hardly move, so I hope I am able to actually do my day 3 insanity workout tomorrow. Good luck to all of those who are currently doing this program, and congrats to those who have finished. :D

It's so true, the first week is a lactic nightmare!
To clear excess lactates, take hot baths to shift the blood supply (and beef up the flippy trippy painkilling endorphins) and REST. If you warm up properly the stiffness clears so you can do the day's workout without issue.
Massage is good too. Massage is ALWAYS good, lol.
The stiffness magics away for the 2nd week, promise!

Yep, first week is tough but it does get much better. I just finished week two and my breathing is back to normal by the time we do our last stretch. Just pop some Advil for awhile and you should be okay. Also, remember to wear shoes like cross trainer and don't do this on a hard surface to protect your knees.
