Just curious as to whether anyone else is over 50 doing insanity. If so what's your take on keeping up with the younger crowd? I find myself getting better each time, but, am not able to catch up to the pace of the group on DVD. I try to keep moving and just push myself a little harder with each workout.

Beaves....congrats to you for keeping fit. I'm 48 myself....don't worry about pace too much until you are conditioned. Remember as Shaun T says over and over again..."Don't sacrifice form over speed". Get the drill form correct then build from that.

Thanks for the feed back. Friday is my rest day and for the first time since starting Insanity, I am looking sooooo forward to the rest day! Today I had a tough time keeping motivated. I think it's because I did the fit test on my last rest day.

Great job Beaves! I am 42 and have been getting better with each workout. I think it's great that even the people in the DVD's need to take a break every now and then. I dont' feel like a wimp ;) Fridays are my rest days also...I love them rest days!!

Hey Beaves.. I am 50 but don't feel in the least. Well let's say on most days I don't feel it. Keeping up with the younger crowd has always been some sort of a goal for me because I still love to play sports and as folks get older they tend to not play as much so I find myslef playing against the 20 something crowd and they are so much more skilled nowadays.. Insanity seems like just the thing to give us that feeling of being able to hang with the youngsters.. GOOD LUCK ...
