Wow! I jusr re-motivated myself to continue my workout! Good Job!
Sarah...nice job....that's what I'm talking about! Peace & out.
Thanks for posting these Sean! They are a little scary large though :> Just so people have my background: I am 38 years old, mother of two boys (6, and 4). I have a demanding job as well as a husband who works mainly night shift. I worked out moderately before starting Insanity! I appreciate everyone's support on here, because it certainly got me through the tough workouts, and helped me get started with the right mind frame. I am still doing the Month 1 workouts as really that is all my lifestyle and motivation will allow me to do. Ironically I find they are still very demanding and cannot yet get through all of them without a break (particularly the Plyo circuit).
Again- thank you to all of you! Because of you I can say I did Insanity!
Congrats Sarah !!!! Great Job !!! By the way, when you get sick of Month 1 of Insnaity, look into Turbo Fire. I hear good things about it. And the length should fit your lifestyle
I was just reading up on it last night and was considering it for my fall program! I am just doing Insanity in between camping spurts. I am home until tomorrow. I get 4 workouts in and then off again for 10 days. I was considering ordering the program now, and having it for when I get back. What do you know about it?
You look awesome Sarah.. congrats on a great accomplishment. I ordered Turbo Fire and tried it but it certainly wasn't for me. If you like doing choreography then it may be something you would like. I'm an old-school let's get done to business kinda person so Insanity was a god-send to me. Turbo Fire is more cheerleady and you have to learn a bunch of move and put then together to be able to do it. I thought it was a little cheesy but I do talk to people who love it as well.
Haven't pulled the trigger and ordered Turbo Fire yet, that's my next phase after my hybrid P90X/Insanity Workouts. With P90X, I feel like I am on vacation. Feels like everything is moving 10 steps slower. The P90X Cardio Workouts hardly get my HR above 130. My Nephew lent me P90X+ workouts where Tony Horton has Interval X+ and Kenpo X+. Had no problems completing the programs doing every rep on every set that Tony Horton called out. My HR never got above 135, while the guys in the video are saying they're at 173. Tony is the man in terms of Resistance Training tho. OMG, how can someone make pull ups look that easy? Ab Ripper X is a definite killer, but doable. I still haven;t summoned enough courage to look at Insane Abs. All the Resistance Training in P90X is definitely definitely tough to do.
Hey JohnA, if you don't like Turbo Fire, I'll buy the set off you for a discount :-) Got a paypal account?
Going to give Turbo Fire a go. Just ordered it!
