wanting results

My husband and I have been diong Insnaity for 1 week and 2 days now. I am a little shocked that I do physically see resluts yet. I work out regulary, but have stopped since starting Insanity. I felt like I needed a new workout in my life to shock my body and change things up for a bit. I am a sweet-aholic! ( I workout so I can eat sweets regularly:) I figured by just cutting them out of my diet and working out as hard as I have, that I would SEE resuluts by now. My husband tells me my expectations are a little too high and that my body is probably changing even though I can't SEE it yet.

My question is, for those of you who have been doing Insnaity for a while, when did you beging to notice results? I feel different and know I am improving in the workouts, but just want to see the resuluts. Am I rushing this?

Please share your thoughts with me.

I think it depends on your body type as to what you will 'see'. I personally started noticing about 2 weeks into it. A week and 2 days is a bit premature to be judging the results. Did you take pictures on day 1? If so, post them and let us tell you if you look different!

Are you trying to lose weight? Or tone muscle? What are your goals? You already work out regularly so your body may take longer to react. Plus you need to follow the nutrition guide.

A week and two days is a little quick, although you might already be seeing things like better sleep, glowing skin, etc. And good job at cutting out sweets, however, make sure you are eating enough or all your efforts will backfire! Keep going. Commit to the full 60 days without regard to results and see what happens. :)

tmulli14....Don't be fooled by the mirror....take your measurements. I agree with Sean and Sara...maybe a little early to "see" results, but you should be feeling that your body is tighter, stronger etc., in a new way. In my case, besides being extremely sore for the 7 initial days, I lost 2 inches in my upper body and gained 2 inches of muscle in my thighs and calves. I am starting month 2 now and have lost 5 lbs and my body is evolving. The plyo works! Stay with it....you will have results! Important to note, is to eat properly meaning 200-300 carbs and at least 100 grams of protein a day....maybe more (for males). I have been following the Elite nutrition plan and having results. Good luck!

Thank yall so much for your encouragement and responses. Yes I took a before picture, but until I see results, I will not be sharing them:) I am trying to loose a little weight, but mostly just tone up more, and build muscle. I have been following the nutrition guide, and eating well. There was one day where I didnt get a chance toeat my 4th meal(which is the one right before my workout) and I could definitely tell! I did the worst that day. Anyhow. Thanks again!

I feel you! I am ready to start month two and have lost two pounds only...BUT I have lost inches! I hope you've taken measurements, because that is what will show you how your body is changing. I gain and lose evenly all over, so it's hard to "see" the change fast. As long as I'm losing something I know it's working.

Be patient and you will see results in no time. Everyone is different. We all gain and lose differently at different rates. Stick with this and you won't be disappointed :)

It was month 2 before I started seeing results. I felt more energetic and stronger from the very beginning but I didn't see changes in my body or the scale until the 6th week. The measurements and how your clothes fit are a great indicator of how your body is changing.

Keep at it! It's not all about what the scale says, but how you feel. And with a great diet and active lifestyle you're sure to feel great!
