Day 56 – The Final Rest Day!
Just writing that title makes me realize how close to completion I really am. It really is hard to believe I started this in January and it is almost springtime and I am still at it. One more week to dig deeper and conquer this thing we call Insanity!
Today was an uneventful rest day. The weather was kind of crappy outside so there really wasn’t much to do. I pretty much hung around the house and played with kids and watched some NCAA basketball. It was nice because on previous rest days I have been really active as well, so this was truly a day of rest.
I can barely feel any twinge at all in the knees which is great. I still go gingerly up and down stairs from habit. All I need is for them to hold out one more week!
Ok, off to visualize the final week of Insanity . . .

That’s great that you are enjoying you final rest day! I can not believe two months is just about over. Your blog has been so informative and inspiring…I will miss it. No one writes as well as you when it comes to realy explaining all that is Insanity.
Colette, thank you for the kind words again! I also want to let you know that I will not be going away after next week
I have a lot of ideas for this site that will keep you interested hopefully and provide more support and inspiration to other INSANITY participants.
Well that is good news!
Thank goodness, I really love this forum! Thanks for starting it Sean…what a great idea.
It’ll be interesting to hear what your plans are after next week. You up for another round?
I’m excited to see your final pictures/stats! That’s my favorite part about all of the blogs/sites that I follow — seeing the results. We do the programs to get better whether with our health, performance, weight, etc….so it’s great to see each other completing goals!
I don’t know if I could do another round of Insanity when I finish this month. I just get bored of the same moves. I’d love if there was an Insanity 2…..haha. Like…the same idea of training and all but with new moves/routines and some new music. =) Good Luck to everyone!
