Day 7 – Rest Day!
Ahhhh, a day off! I can proudly say I have finished the first week of INSANITY! Today was the first official rest day. Seeing as how you only get one rest day a week it was greatly appreciated and well deserved.
So, what do you do on your day off of INSANITY? Eat and watch football of course! I spent most of the day lounging around playing with the kids as it was a rainy day today. Then I enjoyed watching both the AFC and NFC Championship games. After today there is only one more football game left in the season
(no we don’t count the Pro Bowl!).
Tonight I will get my rest and prepare to eat healthy tomorrow in anticipation of week 2!

eating healthy i think is going to be one of the hardest parts for me! are you following the food guide? since i’m the one who does the cooking, i’m thinking of making the meals that will be in the guide
I am pretty much following the food guide. I pretty much already eat like this so it is not a big stretch for me. You can make up your own recipes just trying to find the right balance of protein, fat, and carbs. I am actually trying to gain weight (muscle) which is proving to be hard because I have to eat more than I am used to.
yeah, the stuff I eat are all low fat and only equal about 900 cal a day. No where near what I should be at. But I do eat tons of protein and feel like I have enough energy to work and do the excersises afterwards. Guess thats all that matters.
900 calories is NOT enough.
