Ahhhhh!  This was a nice break in the action!  Today’s workout was titled Cardio Recovery.  The idea behind this workout is that you do lots of stretches and some power moves, but without the cardio.  By far, this is the easiest workout.

Even saying that it was the easiest workout, I still could not finish all the moves!  I usually cave when asked to hold a pose for a long period of time, such as sitting in a squat flexed.  There is only so long you can maintain the burn.

The intent of today’s workout is to allow you muscles time to recover from the Insane workouts the days before.  It felt more like an intense yoga/pilates session as he incorporated some of these moves.

One other thing to note, before I started this workout, and still to now, my body is feeling great.  The intense soreness of my leg muscles has gone away.  I don’t know if they will stay like this, but I feel like I have turned the corner and am definitely looking forward to continuing these Insanity Workouts!
