Sara - I also previewed the weight training dvd and will definitely be adding that to my routine after Insanity is done. I think it will be good for me.

Good idea about switching out Cardio Abs with Insane Abs. Maybe I will try that.

Oh, and I will keep posting my calorie burn after each workout since people are interested :-)

So you do have the deluxe set. I previewed the upper body weight training DVD and thought of you immediately, that it's something you would really benefit from, since you want to gain. It's done Insanity-style, though, with the weights as part of a cardio circuit.

I think on the Insane Abs days, I'm just going to pretend I don't have the deluxe set and do Cardio Abs. :) I bet you could fit in an extra 17 minutes somewhere.

By the way, thanks for posting your calorie counts. I was curious. I'd really like to know how the max workouts compare to the first month's though. Looking around the Web, it seems like most people burned about 450-580 with them.

Glad today was a nice recovery day for you. I like your new heart rate monitor, and I think I may have to check it out for myself. It's so true about how important water and food is for a strong workout. I did that a few days ago and it just wiped me out too. Now I make sure nothing like that happens again. Good for you for not stopping, and now it's over...until the next time LOL

yeah, I don't know what I am going to do. I thought of moving it to Saturday, but i want to do the fit test on Saturday since I don't want to double up on Monday either. It may just get skipped which would be disappointing.

Max Recovery is harder in some ways, but not too bad (lots of tough pushups). But it is much longer at about 47 minutes.

Can you fit in Cardio Abs instead? Yeah, having to change something stinks when you've gone so long following the program exactly. I'm still bummed out about doing it, too.

How much harder is Max Recovery than Cardio Recovery?
